CAPTAIN CANADA 5K IS THE MOST PATRIOTIC FUN RUN IN CANADA!
This 5km or 10km red & white, flag-wearing, all Canadian experience brings people together through community engagement and fitness. Be a SuperHero for Make-A-Wish Canada!!! This summer join thousands of fellow Canucks who are showing their patriotism in their local community while choosing to raise funds to support Make-A-Wish Canada. Be a Captain for Canada!
Each registration includes a Canadian flag (wear it then hang it proudly!) branded buff, finishers medal, tattoos, timing app, and shipping. This is a fun and active way for families and friends to come together and celebrate being Canadian… And oh ya, this is a FUN RUN so you can take your time, set a new world record, walk it, or jog it… Just make sure to take a picture of you and your crew in those awesome Canada day outfits! #CaptainCanada5K
How It Works
Once you have registered, a registration pack full of goodies including your very own Canadian Flag Cape, Buff, Finishers Medal, tattoos and more will be shipped out within a day or two of registering (beginning May 15, 2022. Orders placed after June 21, 2022 will not be guaranteed to arrive by July 1)
Your Run/Walk can be completed anytime between June 24 - July 3, 2022
From superheros to beaver tails we encourage you to dress up and have fun with the experience
Prizes will be awarded for Best Photo, Best Costume, Top Fundraisers, Fastest 5K/10K and Most Patriotic Pet!!!
You can go with the classic 5K or get an extra challenge in by upgrading to the 10K
Participate by yourself or with a group! Check out our discounted Canuck Bubble Pass option for groups of 4 or more
During the registration process, you can choose to create a personal fundraising page to raise funds for front line workers
For those Canucks that like to know their stats you can track your time with Runkeeper
Listen to the Captain Canada Run Spotify playlist to train and during your run (coming soon)!
You can plot your own 5K or 10K course map wherever you like - in your neighbourhood, on a trail, or at the gym on a treadmill

Thousands for wishes have been delayed because of the pandemic, but we’re still granting wishes, and you can help us make an immediate difference with your donations and support. For wish children and families, – finding hope in challenging circumstances is something they have been doing long before anyone heard the word “lockdown.” Robbed of the simple joys of childhood, hospital stays, doctor’s visits and painful treatments are their “normal.” Your support will help to make sure that when life returns to normal, no child will have to wait for their already-delayed wish.
